Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) and ITOM (IT Operations Management) Specialist to join our team. As a ServiceNow specialist, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications, specifically focusing on ITSM and ITOM modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ServiceNow capabilities with business requirements, streamline processes, and optimize IT service delivery.
Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Implementation:
Lead the implementation and customization of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules.
Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and modules to meet specific business needs.
Design and develop ServiceNow integrations with other systems, databases, and APIs.
IT Service Management (ITSM):
Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement ITSM best practices using ServiceNow.
Design and optimize ITSM processes, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service catalog management.
Configure ServiceNow ITSM modules, including incident, problem, change, and knowledge management.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor service performance.
IT Operations Management (ITOM):
Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules, such as discovery, event management, and CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date configuration data within the CMDB.
Monitor and manage infrastructure events, alerts, and incidents using ServiceNow Event Management.
Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other monitoring tools and systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong experience in ServiceNow implementation and administration, specifically in ITSM and ITOM modules.
In-depth knowledge of ITSM processes and best practices.
Proficiency in ServiceNow development, customization, and configuration.
Experience with ServiceNow integration using APIs, web services, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs).
Familiarity with ITOM modules, such as discovery, event management, and CMDB.
Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and its application in ServiceNow.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, ITOM, etc.) are a plus.
