PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform all aspects of platform administration including configuration, monitoring, management, tuning, and security of all ServiceNow instances.
• Troubleshoot production and test issues; perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective action, and the resolution efforts.
• Create, configure, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Business Rules, Notifications UI Policies, UI Actions, UI Pages, UI Macros, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Notifications, User Roles, and ACL's including advanced scripting in each.
• Develop ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, MYSQL, XML, HTML and CSS
• Configure MID Servers, web services, LDAP/SSO integrations, and other relevant technology to integrate tools with ServiceNow platform.
• Implement and Coordinate with ServiceNow support and any implementation on new releases and platform upgrades as necessary to stay compatible and current.
• Identify automation opportunities and make recommendation for improvements to ITSM modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB and Service Catalog Requests.
• Integrate ServiceNow application(s) with third party systems/applications via APIs
• Assist with regular ITSM ServiceNow custom releases which may include system/integration testing, UAT, and validation.
• Enhance Service Portal themes, UI Scripts, Widgets, new customizations using CSS, HTML, AngularJS and other programming languages.
• Analyze requirements and accurately estimate the effort of work to design, create and implement solutions.
• Design and implement process workflows, procedures, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders for requirements development, ensuring that stakeholders understand the design capabilities and/or limitations, engaging development staff in the transfer of functional requirements into system design.
• Build “Proof-Of-Concept” solutions to support accurate customer proposals and implementation plans.
• Configuring Orchestration and automation projects.
• Collaborate with business to clarify requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent field of study
• 3+ years of overall experience in Software development and integration
• 3+ years’ experience for ServiceNow including the creation and/or customization of the core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Content management and End User Service Portal.
• 2+ Experience with Service Catalog module and creating custom workflows and automating them using third party API’s.
• Experience in CMDB data model and populating CMDB using the Service Now Discovery tool is a plus
• Experience of configuring and managing Orchestration preferred.
• Experience with all phases of the SDLC and maintenance lifecycle.
• Must have great communication skills (verbal and written).
