you will have the responsibility of advocating for the continued maturity of our Service Management journey as well as maintaining and supporting our IT Service Management system (ServiceNow). The successful candidate will have previously held a similar position previously and have the following skills and experience:
IT Operations Professional
Your mission and responsibilities:
Resolution of Level 1 & 2 issues/incidents/change requests and enhancements in line with the SerivceNow modules and support delivery
Assist in identifying widespread problems with application modules or software and proactively engaging respective development team for support.
Responsible for working with and tracking support tickets from beginning through resolution.
Assist with management & administration of ServiceNow instance
Create and update manuals & end user documentation for knowledge base.
Subject Matter Expertise in the support domain for the assigned application in providing thought leadership and operational support
Performing analysis and assistance with the design and implementation of activities relating to the assigned application
Your qualifications and experience:
Prior experience working as a ServiceNow administrator and/or developer is essential.
Good understanding of core ServiceNow modules including Service Catalog, Request, Asset, Knowledge, ESS portal etc.
Experience with ServiceNow scripting in JavaScript and good understanding of XML and HTML.
Experience with using and obtaining data from ServiceNow with good understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
Experience with processes involving problem identification, recovery, escalation, and resolution.
Working knowledge of relational databases.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) / Enterprise Service Management
Working knowledge of relational databases and database management systems
Experienced in providing application support, with proven ability to manage and support multiple systems
Experience with AGILE development methods (desirable)
ITIL Foundation (desirable)

Critical to the role are your advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders in providing expert support & guidance.
Understanding of time constraints in getting issues resolved timely.
Ability to work independently, or as a member of a team, requiring minimal supervision to deliver support within the agreed timeframe, meeting, or exceeding quality expectations.
Demonstrated experience in learning new technologies
Your ability in planning, prioritising and organising work for yourself & others to achieve goals and deadlines will see you succeed in this role
