ServiceNow Lead Developer Salary £50k – £65k, plus annual company bonus on offer. I am recruiting for a lead ServiceNow Developer for my nationally recognized Birmingham based client. My client is looking to bring ServiceNow in-house, and this would see you join at the start of this journey, with the aim of building a team around you. This company are leaders in their field, they are forward thinking and have a vibrant central Birmingham office. This role will offer both office based and remote working, it will challenge you daily and see you make a big impact on the platform both now and in the future. We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow developer, someone who not only knows the platform but someone who is able to manage & communicate with stakeholders. In this role you will:
• Own, manage and develop the platform.
• Drive business requirements and take an active role with stakeholders, understanding business context and how to translate functional and technical requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow solution
• Own the development pipeline and release cycle for all developments and upgrades leading multiple streams of technical design and delivery.
• Develop knowledge of the systems and technologies deployed within the company and embed that knowledge in ServiceNow to assist the 1st Line support teams
• Follow IT security and risk management processes to mitigate potential risks and ensure exposure is minimal. Escalate any IT risks to the Application Support Manager and Information Security Manager. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for:
• 2 or more years ServiceNow development and configuration experience
• Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, etc.
• Experience with web technologies XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc
• ServiceNow qualifications are advantageous, as is ITIL Certification
