BAPON IT Services is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Portal Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing portals on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. This role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development and a solid understanding of the platform and its architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement portals on the ServiceNow platform.
• Configure Service Portal and custom widgets, including necessary workflows and processes.
• Implement designer-provided user interfaces, ensuring the UI matches designs on various portal pages.
• Design, configure, and customise new applications and modules.
• Assist in troubleshooting patch and release management issues.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of the portals.
• Design and develop responsive, user-friendly portals that meet business requirements.
• Work with clients and project teams to understand business requirements and develop robust solutions.
• Develop custom Mobile Applets with features like bar code scans and language translation for mobile devices.
• Serve as a ServiceNow technical subject matter expert.
• Mentor and train junior developers in the team.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging ServiceNow technologies and industry trends.
• Identify areas for process improvement and work collaboratively with project teams and clients to create and implement solutions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the design and development of ServiceNow portals.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Service Portal development with a solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform and architecture.
• Experience in developing and deploying responsive design portals in line with user experience and design principles.
• Proficiency in client-side scripting, including AngularJS, ReactJS, or similar frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• ServiceNow certifications (ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, etc.) are a plus.
