ServiceNow Senior Developer- CMDB

The ServiceNow Developer will focus on developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions related to CMDB, Discovery, and integrations. This role involves creating and managing Service Graph Connectors to ensure seamless data integration and accurate representation of IT infrastructure.

Key Deliverables:
• Design, develop, and configure CMDB-related functionalities, including data models, business rules, and UI components to support effective Configuration Management.
• Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery processes to automatically identify, map, and maintain IT infrastructure and services in the CMDB.
• Develop and maintain Service Graph Connectors to integrate external data sources and systems with ServiceNow, ensuring accurate and real-time data synchronization.
• Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other IT systems using APIs, web services, and integration tools to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Apply the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework to structure and organize CMDB data, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with best practices.
• Implement and adhere to Data Manager Policies, including data governance, quality management, and lifecycle management to maintain high standards of data integrity and compliance.
• Performs Configuration/Customization of the ServiceNow system, including creation workflows
• Builds service request fulfilment workflow from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows, UI actions, client scripts, business rules, etc
• Uses scripting tools and Service Now functionality to automate rote tasks
• Performs integrations and process automation using Orchestration, Web Services, Soap calls, etc.
• Gathers specifications from the business departments and delivers a product/release that meets the needs presented. Interprets business and functional requirements and develops technical specifications documentation
• Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems as needed
• Must analyse and fully understand user stories and internal procedures in order to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow releases
• Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data

Qualifications:
• More than 4 years of experience in the IT industry.
• Background and deep experience with ServiceNow are mandatory with accreditations covering the full range of ServiceNow products particularly CMDB/ITOM
• Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, scripting (JavaScript), and integration techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Engaging presentation style, with the ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios
• Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple campaigns at the same time
• CIS- Discovery/CIS-Service Mapping/CIS- Event management Certification
