Ongoing Full Time role working over a 5-day roster
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
The Team Leader Catering and Cleaning role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of efficient, effective and safe catering, cleaning and laundry services for patients and staff while ensuring all relevant legislative requirements are met. You will oversee day-to-day operations including workforce management, operational planning, financial management and purchasing, while supporting a continuous quality improvement cycle across the service.
In this leadership role, you will supervise and coordinate catering and cleaning staff, manage rostering and staff development, and promote a positive and motivated team environment. You will also contribute to quality and safety initiatives, including food safety programs, infection control standards and compliance with SA Health policies and procedures. The Team Leader may also be required to undertake operational duties at short notice when required.

Do you have the ability to coordinate staff, rostering and daily service operations?
Are you confident managing budgets, purchasing and department resources?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
Supervise and coordinate catering and cleaning staff, including work priorities and rostering.
Support staff recruitment, training, development and performance review processes.
Monitor financial performance and manage purchasing to support service delivery.
Oversee food safety programs, infection control standards and quality systems.
Promote a positive work culture while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
