The School of Public Policy invites applications for Winter 2026 Sessional Instructor to teach in our Master of Public Policy program.

The School of Public Policy is Canada's leading policy school, which provides hands-on training in Canada and abroad through a Master of Public Policy Program, an Extractive Resource Governance Program, and an Executive Training Program. Its alumni can be found in leadership positions in the private, public and non-profit sectors across Canada.

Our vacant positions include teaching the following course(s):

PPOL 6++.04: Social Policy
Winter 2026 Term, Mondays from 1:00 to 3:45pm

This course is taught from an interdisciplinary approach in order to illustrate how different disciplines and perspectives inform social policy development, implementation, and evaluation. As an interdisciplinary course, it will be approached through a comparative and historical perspective, focusing on the development and implementation of social policy in Canada and in other advanced industrial countries.

Position Requirements
The School of Public policy is seeking a candidate to teach each this course who have excellent teaching credentials and a demonstrated background in the subject matter for the course. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching, particularly at the post-graduate level, and ideally hold an earned doctoral degree in an area closely related to the course to be taught. Experience as a practitioner would be an asset.
