The School of Public Policy invites applications for Fall 2026 Sessional Instructor to teach in our Master of Public Policy program.
The School of Public Policy is Canada's leading policy school, which provides hands-on training in Canada and abroad through a Master of Public Policy Program, an Extractive Resource Governance Program, and an Executive Training Program. Its alumni can be found in leadership positions in the private, public and non-profit sectors across Canada.
Our vacant positions include teaching the following course(s):
PPOL 6++.37: Indigenous Policy
Fall 2026 Term, Thursdays from 5:00 to 8:00pm
This course should offer a detailed examination of some aspects of public policy pertinent to Indigenous people in Canada, such as health and social policy, resource development or governance. Emphasis should be placed on students¿ understanding of traditional knowledge and diverse Indigenous perspectives.
Position Requirements
The School of Public policy is seeking a candidate to teach this course who have excellent teaching credentials and a demonstrated background in the subject matter for the course. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching, particularly at the post-graduate level, and ideally hold an earned doctoral degree in an area closely related to the course to be taught. Experience as a practitioner would be an asset.
