Tomorrow's graduates will enjoy less career stability than previous generations. Technology and demography are changing the nature of work. Instead of having secure progressive careers, you will work on contract or as consultants. You will need to think, and act like entrepreneurs. This course includes work-integrated-learning components, and satisfies the WIL requirement of the BBA degree.

The following positions for a Sessional Lecturer are available in the Department of Management for the Fall 2026 academic session. This posting is in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Governing Council of the University of Toronto and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 3+02 Unit 3.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Several years' experience as a consultant and/or contractor. Demonstrated excellence in teaching or presenting and mastery of the subject area. A graduate degree in management and/or business administration.
Duties
All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams, calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours and maintaining reasonable availability for student contact, supervision of T.A. assigned to course.

Approximately 50 minutes per student enrolled over 30

Salary for a half-course (0.50 FCEs) inclusive of vacation pay: The Sessional Lecturer I rate of pay will be $+,820.70. Sessional Lecturer I-Long Term rate of pay will be $10,510.04. Sessional Lecturer II rate of pay will be $10,510.04. Sessional Lecturer II-Long Term rate of pay will be $10,760.28. Sessional Lecturer III rate of pay will be $10,760.28. Sessional Lecturer III-Long Term rate of pay will be $11,030.36.
