Key Responsibilities
• Set & prop design (the creative visionary):
• Design sets for both the studio and for portable "pop-up" studios at client locations.
• Source and create props that are beautiful, on-brand, and easily transportable.
• Develop themed setups for events like baby showers and first birthdays.
• Newborn poser & safety officer (the expert hands):
• Pose newborns with utmost priority on safety in both studio and home environments.
• Travel to client locations to lead posing for on-location newborn sessions.
• Train and advise photographers on safe posing practices for on-location work.
• Studio & on-location manager (the operational lead):
• Manage the calendar for both studio and on-location sessions.
• Conduct detailed consultations to assess client homes for shooting feasibility (space, light).
• Logistics & inventory:
• Manage a separate inventory of portable backdrops, props, and lighting equipment for travel.
• Coordinate logistics, packing, and transportation for on-location shoots.
• Event coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients booking event photography (birthdays, baby showers), managing shot lists, timelines, and photographer assignments.
• Weekend management:
• Oversee the entire workflow, ensuring teams and kits are correctly assigned and deployed for studio sessions, in-home sessions, and events.
Work Schedule
• This is a full-time position requiring weekend availability.
• Schedule will mix studio days, on-location session days, and administrative days.
