Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Sewing Teacher to teach and guide students of all ages in the art of sewing. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing techniques and be able to create a positive and engaging learning environment. The Sewing Teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing lesson plans, demonstrating sewing techniques, and providing individualized guidance to students to make them future ready independent sewing worker.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to students' individual needs and skill levels.
Teach sewing techniques to students of all ages, including basic stitches, pattern reading, and garment construction
Provide guidance and support to students as they work on sewing projects.
Demonstrate proper use and care of sewing equipment and tools.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to the organization.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive curriculum.
Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay up-to-date on new sewing techniques and teaching strategies
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in fashion or textiles preferred.
Experience in sewing techniques, pattern making, and garment construction
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English, with written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with students of all ages and background (specialy mothers) and skill levels.
Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans.
Familiarity with sewing equipment and tools, including sewing machines, sergers, and hand tools.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
Ability to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Salary: ₹+,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
