• 4+ years of experience in SFCC backend development.
• Strong knowledge of SFCC architecture, OCAPI, and cartridge-based development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, ISML templates and SCAPI/OCAPI.
• Experience with eCommerce integrations (e.g., payment providers, tax engines, shipping APIs).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, web security, and API concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.
• Monitor and optimize site performance, server-side operations, and data flows.
• Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions and continuous improvement of development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and staging environments.
• Maintain proper documentation of code, processes and best practices.
