Hiring a Shade Installer | Join Weathersafe Shades
Are you looking for a stable role?
Weathersafe is a leading company in the Shade Structure Industry in South Australia, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of shade structures.
Based in Welland, we take pride in our craftsmanship and are looking for a motivated person to join our installing field team.
As an Installer, you will be working outdoors across South Australia to bring our high-quality designs to life.
Your day-to-day will involve the physical installation of shade sails, steel structures, and weather protection systems at schools, parks, and commercial sites. Working closely with your crew, you’ll be responsible for everything from site preparation and manual handling to safely operating tools at heights to ensure every structure is built to our industry-leading standards. Training will be provided.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
· Team-player attitude.
· A current White Card.
· Competence and confidence using ladders and working at heights (a High-Risk License is desirable).
· Physical fitness, as required by the nature of the work.
· A valid driver’s license
· Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check (Weathersafe will assist in obtaining these clearances).
Applicants must have reliable transport to travel to our warehouse in Welland, SA.
Weathersafe will provide on-the-job training and support, as well as the tools and a work vehicle required for daily tasks.
Location: Welland, SA.
Daily Operations: Once at the warehouse, you will head out to project sites in a company vehicle. This is a Monday to Friday role.
