Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Shadow Teacher role located in Navi Mumbai. The Shadow Teacher will be responsible for supporting students with special needs, working closely with the school's general education teachers to identify and address academic and behavioral challenges. The Shadow Teacher will provide one-on-one support to students in the general education classroom or in a separate special education setting, facilitating student participation and modeling appropriate behavior.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Experience working with students with special needs, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience collaborating with general education teachers and other service providers to support students with special needs
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual student needs
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow as a professional
