Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint Administrator to join our team in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
This role requires expertise in SharePoint technologies, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with customers to resolve issues effectively within the DoD framework
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
Relevant certifications, such as:
Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator
CompTIA Security+
DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Certifications (e.g., IAT Level II)
Proven experience in the administration of SharePoint environments within a DoD context
In-depth knowledge of SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online, and related tools
Strong understanding of SharePoint security models and compliance requirements
Experience with troubleshooting SharePoint-related issues and providing timely and effective resolutions
Familiarity with SharePoint backup and recovery processes
Ability to work closely with customers to understand and address their SharePoint needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with users and IT teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities and deadlines
Understanding of cultural sensitivities and adaptability to work in diverse international environments
The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship

Implement best practices for SharePoint governance, ensuring proper utilization of features and resources
Security and Compliance: Enforce security policies and compliance measures in SharePoint environments to meet DoD standards
Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain SharePoint security controls
User Support: Provide user support and training for SharePoint users, ensuring effective use of collaboration and document management features
Work closely with customers to understand their SharePoint-related needs and challenges
Troubleshooting and Remediation: Proactively identify and troubleshoot SharePoint-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and functionality problems
Collaborate with customers and IT teams to resolve outages and provide input on issue resolution
Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement SharePoint backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
Conduct regular backup tests and maintain documentation for recovery procedures
Migration and Upgrades: Plan and execute SharePoint migration projects, including upgrades to newer versions
Ensure a seamless transition of data and configurations during migration activities
Customization and Development: Customize SharePoint solutions using tools like SharePoint Designer and develop custom workflows and applications
Collaborate with developers to integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems

Key Responsibilities
