Our team in Edmonton is currently looking for a Sheet Metal Administrator to become an integral part of the team.

Duties/Responsibilities:


Provide administrative support to the sheet metal fabrication team, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing communications.
Support Head Office management keeping things organized and running smoothly whenever needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production schedules, inventory, KPI, and project timelines.
Review and analysis metrics, supporting COA.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
Process all incoming/outgoing documents within appropriate software.
Monitor and report inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of materials and supplies.
Handle internal customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of work orders and production schedules.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
Provide vacation relief coverage for the metal purchasing agent, ensuring continuity in procurement and inventory management.
Processes standard MRO purchases and coordinates more difficult MRO purchases with management.
Backup support for shipping quotes and creating non stocks.
Publish operation metrics weekly.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor or the manager.
Qualification/Experience:


Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes is a plus.

Working remotely is not an option.
