We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shift In charge to oversee production activities during their respective shifts. The Shift In charge will be responsible for efficiently managing manpower, production planning, and maintaining detailed production reports. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the smooth execution of all production processes, from material handling to finished goods, in line with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manpower Handling: Supervise and guide the production team during the shift, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and maintaining a positive work environment.
Production Planning: Develop shift-specific production plans, considering demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability, to meet production targets efficiently.
Production Reporting: Accurately maintain and update production reports, including output quantities, quality metrics, downtime records, and any incidents during the shift.
Material Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, ensuring adequate stock levels to support uninterrupted production.
Equipment Monitoring: Monitor the functioning of production machinery and equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production, with a strong focus on Extrusion processes, preferably HDPE pipe and Micro irrigation production.Educational background in Diploma Mechanical, Production Engineering, or CIPET is required.
