We are looking for a Shift Leader/Receptionist for our exceptional Crowne Plaza Marlow, Fieldhouse Lane, Marlow Bucks SL7, set in 5 acres of landscaped grounds.
The Company
The Hotel with a magnificent lakeside location, has 168 spacious bedrooms, a Conference Centre with 8 meeting rooms for up to 400 in the largest Lakeview suite, extensive Quad Wellness & Spa facilities , the Glaze One AA Rosette restaurant and the Aqua Bar & Conservatory with stunning lake views
The entire hotel has just been the subject of a multi million pound refurbishment project making it the finest Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in the UK
The Role of the Shift Leader
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a RECEPTIONIST/ SHIFT LEADER to be part of our front office team at our Crowne Plaza Marlow
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for Reception and Enquiries
You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service standards and service levels
You should also have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and have a working knowledge of Opera or a similar system.
You will work on a shift basis, working 5 days out of 7.
The successful candidate should preferably have previously worked in a branded Hotel, preferably an InterContinental Hotels Group brand, in a similar role.
Prior knowledge of Opera PMS is a strong advantage.
Ideal candidates should have a stable background and positive references
Candidates with great personalities and strong customer care skills also preferred
