The Opportunity
Orrcon Steel Manufacturing is looking for a Shift Supervisor (Logistics) to join the Logistics Team based in Salisbury. Orrcon Steel Manufacturing is a leading Australian supplier of steel and aluminium products, offering a comprehensive range engineered to meet the demands of diverse industries. Our products are backed by strong technical expertise, full traceability, and stringent quality standards. Supported by strategic supplier partnerships and a nationwide network of manufacturing centres, we ensure consistent availability, reliable performance, and dependable supply for customers across Australia.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide and empower a team of logistics operators. This opportunity is perfect for a leader who does more than just supervise; you will be the driving force behind team cohesiveness, ensuring your team is aligned, motivated, supported and performing.
Enjoy a stable day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm. We offer an attractive salary package plus an annual profit-share program (bonus). What Will You Do?
With a strong focus on teamwork, you will be:
providing clear direction and oversight to ensure all daily warehouse functions run smoothly
working closely with your team to manage daily operations, ensuring they have the guidance needed to meet workload demands
identifying practical ways to improve performance and mitigate risks, with a consistent focus on achieving on-time delivery for our customers
ensuring our safety protocols evolve by championing necessary changes whenever new risks or opportunities are identified
actively developing the team’s technical capabilities to help them progress and master their roles
