Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Shipper / Receiver / Inventory Control team member to join our warehouse operations team. In this role, you will support the accurate flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, maintain inventory records, and help ensure customer orders are picked, packed, documented, and shipped on time. Schedule
This is a full-time position with 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, typically from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Some overtime, weekend, and holiday work may be required based on business needs.
What You'll Do
Receive inbound shipments and production orders, verify quantities and condition, and record receipts accurately in the warehouse system.
Pick, pack, label, stage, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
Use ERP/WMS and shipping tools to manage transactions, generate labels, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments, investigate discrepancies, and help resolve shortages, overages, or damage issues.
Maintain accurate inventory records, support cycle counts, and ensure bin locations are updated and organized.
Replenish pick locations, organize overstock, and help plan efficient use of warehouse space.
Prepare export and outbound paperwork to ensure shipments leave the facility with proper documentation.
Operate material handling equipment safely and complete daily equipment inspections as required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and support team cross-training when needed.
What We're Looking For
1+ years of experience in a shipping/receiving role and 2+ years in a warehouse environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using ERP/WMS systems, shipping software, and basic computer applications.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience with RF scanners, inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse replenishment is an asset.
Stand-up reach truck and order picker experience and/or certification is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and team-oriented approach.
Comfortable working around dogs.
Physical Requirements
Able to frequently lift 40 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in warehouse conditions, including cooler winter and warmer summer temperatures.
Able to work at heights as required and safely operate warehouse equipment after training.
Willing to support a variety of warehouse duties during peak periods.
Nice to Have
The following qualifications would be considered assets:
Previous warehouse experience.
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
Experience with inventory control and warehouse documentation.
Problem-solving skills and a flexible, positive attitude.
