Job description
Customer Service Representative
This role is ideal for a customer-facing professional who can act as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance with their claims. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the notification and reception of claims process, providing necessary documents, collecting required information, and handing over complete files to specialized claims handlers.
Main Responsibilities:
• You will accept orders from customers or overseas offices and process them for handover to operations teams.
• Proactive updates on shipment status, exceptions, and incident solution progress will be provided to customers.
• You will take and handle customer inquiries, including Track and Trace requests.
• Customer requests related to Go Green topics will be handled.
• Reports generated by Performance Reporting & Exception Specialists will be reviewed and sent to customers.
• Up- and cross-selling opportunities will be identified for existing customers during inbound calls, and leads will be passed on to Sales teams.
Functional Area:
This role is part of our industry-leading shipping and logistics recruitment agency, specializing in customer care executive, tele caller, customer service, and customer support positions. Key skills include import and export documentation, operations management, enquiry handling, customer relationships, order processing, proforma invoice generation, quote preparation, proposal development, inside sales, sales coordination, and client relationship management.
