Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Operations Manager to support key operational processes within our shipping business. This role is responsible for vessel and voyage creation, matching shipping documentation, managing demurrage and detention collections, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in operational reporting.
The ideal candidate should have experience in port or liner operations, be detail-oriented, and capable of handling coordination between internal teams, port agents, and customers.
Main Responsibilities
• Create and maintain VSL/VOY entries in the system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform AR (Arrival Reports) and TDR (Terminal Departure Reports) matching and confirmations to ensure shipment visibility and data consistency.
Financial & Documentation Handling
• Manage Demurrage and Detention (D&D) collection, ensuring timely invoicing and follow-ups with concerned stakeholders.
• Process and verify WDR (Warehouse Delivery Receipts) as part of shipment tracking and control.
Compliance & Reporting
• Prepare and maintain Due Diligence reports for vessels, shipments, or related operational activities to support audit readiness and internal compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operations are aligned with contractual, regulatory, and customer requirements.
