As a Women's Shoe Designer & Pattern Cutter at Ticomp Heels Pvt Ltd. in Lucknow, your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize innovative footwear designs and translate them into precise patterns for production. You will play a crucial role in developing original and trend-forward women's shoe designs, creating accurate 2D patterns, and collaborating with sample makers to produce prototypes. Your expertise in footwear construction, materials selection, and pattern-making techniques will be essential in ensuring the quality and manufacturability of the final products.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Develop original and trend-forward women's shoe designs aligning with brand identity and market trends.
- Generate accurate 2D patterns using hand-drawing and CAD software.
- Collaborate with sample makers to produce prototypes, refining patterns based on evaluations.
- Advise on materials, textures, and finishes considering design intent and manufacturability.
- Provide technical specifications and pattern corrections to manufacturers.
- Conduct research on emerging fashion trends, materials, and technologies.
- Oversee the quality of patterns and prototypes, making necessary adjustments.
• Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in women's footwear design and pattern cutting.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Adobe Illustrator) and traditional pattern-making techniques.
- Strong understanding of footwear construction, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent sketching and technical drawing skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with designers, sample makers, and manufacturers.
In this role, a degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or a related field is preferred. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software, as well as knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials, would be advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work at the designated location.,
