Job Description
As the MPD Shop Technician you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our facility and equipment maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Maintain the upkeep of the facility and yard.
Assist in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of all MPD related equipment.
Assist in the shipping and receiving of MPD equipment.
Deliver and/or pick up supplies from vendors.
Assist in monthly inventory counts.
Inspect all equipment used and perform preventive maintenance checks and service.
Maintain company issued tools and develop knowledge and skill in their use.
Assist Facility Manger with day-to-day tasks as required.
Assist Canadian Operation team with all equipment maintenance as required.
Required Qualifications
1 to 2 years’ experience working in a shop environment.
Mechanically inclined and able to implement mechanical knowledge and skills.
Required Certifications:
Valid drivers license with clean drivers history report
First Aid
Fall arrest
Forklift
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of:
Maintenance processes and procedures
Mechanical tools and equipment
Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
Organized, dependable and action orientated.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
