Location: Ahmedabad
Responsibilities
• Setup, configure and launch Shopify stores
• Develop custom themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Review and install third party apps
• Consume Shopify’s REST API
• Build user interface functionality across browsers and devices
• Develop a scalable and maintainable codebase
• Ensure the optimized performance of the store
• Implement the latest best practices and conventions
• As part of an agile development team, participate in the sprint planning meetings, daily stand ups and follow the agile development process
• Review, refactor and maintain codebases
• Deploy functionality to staging and production environments
• Ensure the quality of the delivered store and its code
Required Skills
• Experience building themes for Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress or similar
• Experience installing and customizing third party plugins for CMS
• Extensive knowledge in vanilla Javascript and EcmaScript 2015+
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Proficiency at building user interfaces with CSS
• Experience using CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
• Knowledge in CSS Architecture methodologies such as B.E.M., SMACSS or Object Oriented CSS
• Experience building semantic and accessible HTML
• Attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
