Job Description-
Shopify Developer, will be responsible for maintaining and improving Shopify store, ensuring its optimal performance and usability for customers.
He/she will work closely with our marketing, design, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and enhance our brand presence online.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify e-commerce platform, including theme modifications, app integrations, and website optimization
• Collaborating with design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly landing pages, product pages, and checkout pages
• Monitoring website performance and making data-driven decisions to improve website speed, page load times, and user experience
• Implementing SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility and increase organic traffic to the website
• Managing Shopify apps and integrations to optimize functionality and improve overall performance
• Troubleshooting technical issues and resolving bugs in a timely manner. Run periodic tests of the site to check that everything is in order
• Integrate 3rd party APIs as and when required
• Staying up-to-date with the latest Shopify trends, features, and best practices to ensure our website is always optimized for success
• Work with the website maintenance agency (when applicable )to ensure that all maintenance tasks are done correctly and on time
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of past Shopify projects
• Expert-level knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Shopify theme development - Ability to create new Shopify themes and modify existing theme templates
• Knowledge of Shopify Plus and experience working with large-scale Shopify stores is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to develop pixel-perfect designs
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including website optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization
• Experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google AnalyticsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in fast-paced start-up environment
