Shopify developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer who is proficient in developing both custom Shopify apps and working with the Shopify platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom Shopify apps: Design, develop, and maintain Shopify apps using the Shopify API and App SDK. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical specifications, and implement app features that enhance the functionality and user experience of Shopify stores.

• Customize Shopify themes: Work with Shopify themes, templates, and Liquid programming language to create visually appealing and user-friendly online stores. Customize the look and feel of Shopify stores based on client requirements, incorporating branding elements and ensuring responsive design across various devices.

• Integration with third-party systems: Integrate Shopify stores with external systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, inventory management systems, and CRM platforms. Ensure smooth data flow and functionality between Shopify and external applications, troubleshooting and resolving any integration issues.

• Perform Shopify store setup and configuration: Assist clients in setting up their Shopify stores, including store configuration, product catalog setup, and payment gateway integration. Provide guidance on best practices for optimizing store performance, SEO, and conversion rate optimization.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Identify and debug issues related to Shopify app functionality, theme customization, or platform integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and front-end developers, to address and resolve technical challenges.

• Stay up to date with Shopify updates and trends: Keep abreast of the latest updates and changes in the Shopify ecosystem, including new features, APIs, and best practices. Proactively recommend improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the overall Shopify development process.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Shopify development: Strong experience in developing custom Shopify apps using the Shopify API and App SDK. Solid understanding of Shopify's theme system, Liquid programming language, and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

• Familiarity with Shopify store setup and configuration: Knowledge of setting up Shopify stores, managing product catalogs, configuring payment gateways, and basic SEO practices.

• API integrations: Experience integrating Shopify with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and CRM platforms. Understanding of RESTful APIs and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).

• Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, both independently and collaboratively. Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Communication and teamwork: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, gather requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Continuous learning mindset: Eagerness to stay updated with the latest Shopify updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Willingness to expand knowledge and skill set through self-learning and training opportunities.

• Portfolio and experience: Demonstrated experience in developing Shopify apps and working on Shopify projects. A portfolio showcasing previous work and examples of custom Shopify apps or themes is highly desirable.
