Job Description
ROLE OBJECTIVE To manage the day-to-day operations of the Experience Center, ensuring a premium customer experience while effectively showcasing the laminate/surface product range. The role involves customer interaction, product demonstration, coordination with sales teams, and maintaining the visual merchandising and upkeep of the centre.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT & EXPERIENCE
• Welcome and guide walk-in customers (architects, designers, contractors, end-users, etc.).
• Understand customer requirements and provide product recommendations.
• Demonstrate laminate features, applications, and benefits using available samples/displays.
• Ensure a customer-centric experience is maintained at all times.
• PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE & PRESENTATION
• Stay updated on product range, new launches, and technical specifications. Assist in curating displays and visual merchandising as per brand guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain product samples and display panels.
• SALES COORDINATION & LEAD GENERATION
• Capture visitor details and share qualified leads with the sales team. Follow up with customers or redirect them to concerned sales personnel. Support in planning customer visits, workshops, and events at the center.
• INVENTORY & CENTER MAINTENANCE
• Maintain inventory of display items, brochures, swatches, and merchandise. Coordinate with backend/warehouse for timely replenishment.
• Ensure cleanliness, upkeep, and functionality of the Center at all times.
• REPORTING & FEEDBACK
• Maintain daily footfall and engagement reports. Gather customer feedback and share insights with marketing and sales teams. Suggest improvements in layout, communication materials, or services offered.
DESIRED POSITION QUALIFICATION
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong product presentation abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
• Customer-centric mindset and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of design and aesthetics
DESIRED EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
• Graduate (Preferred: Interior Design / Architecture / Marketing / Business)
• Experience: 35 years in customer-facing roles (preferably in laminates, building materials, retail showrooms, or interior design sector)
