Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers to the showroom and provide them with an exceptional customer experience, including product recommendations and advice
• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing art and frames that meet their needs and preferences
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the products, including features, benefits, and pricing
• Build relationships with customers and follow up on inquiries to provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain the showroom's appearance, including product displays, cleanliness, and organization, to provide a visually appealing shopping experience
• Achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, and by demonstrating an excellent understanding of the products and their benefits
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit, and other payment methods, and ensure that all transactions are completed in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform inventory management tasks, including restocking and conducting regular stock counts to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Contribute to the marketing and promotional activities of the shop, including social media and email marketing campaigns, to attract new customers and increase sales
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a similar industry such as art, frames, or home decor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• A passion for art and design, with an eye for detail and aesthetics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash registers, and other sales-related software applications
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required
• High school diploma or equivalent education required; a degree in a related field is preferred
