About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Siemens UADM (Unified Architecture Data Management) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in business analysis and integration, focusing on leveraging Siemens UADM solutions to streamline data management processes and improve system integration. You will play a pivotal role in understanding business needs, gathering requirements, and translating them into integrated solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and solution architects to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Siemens UADM solutions within the organization's technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements related to Siemens UADM and system integration needs.

Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to capture business processes, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.

Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for integration teams and developers.

Integration Support:

Assist in the design and documentation of integration flows between Siemens UADM and other enterprise systems (e.g., PLM, ERP, CRM, etc.).

Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure successful integration of UADM systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and process alignment across platforms.

Validate and test integrations, ensuring they meet business requirements and system functionality expectations.

Process Mapping & Improvement:

Analyze existing business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization through Siemens UADM.

Work closely with stakeholders to redefine processes and implement changes that enhance business efficiency, data management, and system integration.

Contribute to the development of process documentation, use cases, and user stories to ensure clarity and consistency in the implementation phase.

Collaboration & Communication:

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication of requirements and expectations.

Participate in project meetings, providing updates, clarifications, and support to the team regarding integration and UADM solutions.

Provide support to the training teams in educating users about new integrations, processes, and UADM-related features.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) teams to define test scenarios and conduct system integration testing to ensure seamless functionality.

Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for UADM solutions and integrations, ensuring they meet both business and technical requirements.

Support issue resolution by identifying root causes and working with the development team to implement fixes.

Documentation & Reporting:

Document business requirements, functional specifications, integration workflows, and system configurations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring it aligns with project milestones and timelines.

Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on Siemens UADM, system integration, and enterprise solutions.

Strong understanding of Siemens UADM architecture and functionality, with hands-on experience in integrating UADM solutions with other enterprise systems (such as PLM, ERP, CRM, etc.).

Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and working closely with technical teams to ensure integration success.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of integration tools and methods, such as APIs, middleware, and enterprise service buses (ESB).

Experience working with cloud-based solutions and integration in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Familiarity with data management, database structures, and data flows in Siemens UADM and related enterprise systems.

Business Analysis Tools:

Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools (e.g., UML, BPMN, Jira, Confluence, etc.).

Ability to create use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.

Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments is preferred.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders and present complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred):

Business Analysis Certification (CBAP, CCBA, etc.) or equivalent is preferred.

Siemens UADM or PLM-related certifications are a plus.

Personal Attributes:

Detail-oriented: Ability to manage complex requirements and ensure all aspects of integration and business analysis are captured accurately.

Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify challenges early and recommend practical, efficient solutions.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving business needs.

Team player: Strong collaborator with the ability to support and contribute to the success of cross-functional teams.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certifications (Desirable):

Siemens Opcenter or Mendix certification.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with ERP integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data migration.

Understanding of business process management and how it relates to MES and low-code platforms.

Previous experience in global projects or large-scale software rollouts is a plus.
