Dorset – Senior Software Engineer – £55k-£65k - Acoustics
Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovator of products who provide for the Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team based in Dorset. You will report to the Engineering Manager, and be responsible for signal processing algorithm development across multiple projects.
Main Duties:
+ Developing advanced signal processing techniques for novel acoustic measurements
+ Analysing acoustic signals from both field and lab tests
+ Conducting lab-based acoustic testing
+ Producing and documenting new intellectual property
Key Experience Required:
+ Signal processing
+ Acoustics
+ Algorithm development
+ Any knowledge of sonics, sonar, MATLAB, Python or C++ is beneficial
Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this position is £55k-£65k, depending on experience
+ This role is full-time, based in Dorset, with opportunity for 2 or more days of remote working per week
