Role Overview
The London Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Digestive Diseases Unit on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Job Summary
As a Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting the Ward Manager in ensuring the efficient management of the department, while maintaining the highest standards of care and services.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and advise on individualised patient care, ensuring it meets evidence-based practices and the Clinic's policies and protocols.
Provide leadership and support to a team of Staff Nurses and HCAs, including approving annual leave, managing sickness, and conducting performance reviews.
Plan staff duty rotas to ensure effective staff-patient allocation and implement internal rotation.
Act as an Intravenous Assessor and deputise for the Ward Manager in their absence.
Contribute to the planning and implementation of the department budget and business plan, as well as team goals and audit.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration.
Post-registration experience in a Gastrointestinal environment, with experience in acute nursing.
Experience in supervising trained nurses, with evidence of motivation, commitment to teaching, and ability to manage change.
Clinical skills in acute practice and Epidural assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
