About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to support the successful delivery of our construction projects. Supporting the Project Manager and Site Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site activities, resolve technical issues, and ensuring works are delivered in line with safety, quality, cost, and programme requirements.

What you'll be doing
Support the delivery of projects in line with quality, safety, environmental, and programme requirements
Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in planning and co-ordinating all site activities
Support the management of subcontractors and suppliers on site
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards on site
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate project progress and address any issues
Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications, raising RFIs where required
Maintain accurate project records, including site diaries, inspection reports and meeting minutes
Participate in site meetings, inspections, and stakeholder coordination
Ensure compliance with company systems, including the Integrated Management System (IMS)
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management or a related field
2-5 years experience in the construction industry, preferably in commercial projects
Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects effectively
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions
Proficient in the use of project management software and tools
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance
Sound knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations
