We are looking for an experienced Site Manager who will be supporting warehouse based in Bury St Edmunds. The role is Monday - Friday with a salary from £72,000 and up to £75,000 depending on experience.

Tasks and responsibilities:

As Site Manager, you are ultimately responsible for all activities at the site. You provide direct leadership to the site management team and ensure that all disciplines (including: warehouse operations, contract management, budget, automation, customs and HR) work together as efficiently as possible to achieve the best results. You will report to the Cluster Director.
• To take full ownership of the Distribution Centre, ensuring everything is in place to deliver on the Bleckmann Promise to clients, in line with the Company Culture and Values; Strategic Plan and agreed budgets.
• To develop and manage the team to drive performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue across new and existing clients
• To lead the health and safety agenda; creating an environment where safe working practices are adhered to and constantly improved upon
• Guarantee effective and efficient operations within the overall physical operation and budgeted guidelines of the business unit;
• Manage all operational processes within SLA and contract agreements;
• Deliver efficient management of operations according to productivity and KPIs;
• Monitor 'cost versus revenue' streams and make adjustments as needed;
• Guarantee effective operational customer communication (OBR, MBR, QBR);
• Bear ultimate responsibility for the branch on budget and results, and the preparation and reporting of monthly financial results;
• Carry ultimate responsibility for the branch on QEHS, facility, security;
• Coach and inspire to get the best out of individuals and teams on a daily basis;
• Deliver thorough account management, continuously improve customer relationships;
• Ensure proactive and continuous improvement of processes, methodologies and approach in own branch.
