Lead with Purpose: Site Manager - Icon Cancer Centre, Subiaco, WA

Icon Cancer Centre is seeking a dynamic, commercially astute Site Manager to lead our newest cancer centre in Subiaco, opening mid-2026. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role and a rare opportunity to establish a brand-new service that will deliver world-class radiation oncology care to the Subiaco community and surrounding catchment.

Co-located with St John of God Subiaco Private Hospital, Icon Cancer Centre Subiaco will provide patients with seamless, integrated cancer care under one roof, bringing together advanced technology, clinical excellence, and a deeply patient-centred experience. As Site Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and be accountable for the overall operational, financial, and people performance of the site. You’ll balance strong business acumen with compassionate leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

Reporting to the State Manager, and working closely with the Business Development Manager, you will help translate Icon’s strategic vision into day-to-day operational excellence. This role offers genuine autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.

Establish and optimise operational workflows for a new centre, embedding best practice from the outset
Drive continuous improvement with patient experience at the forefront
Manage resources effectively to maximise productivity, quality, and sustainability
Build a high-performance, values-aligned culture focused on collaboration and accountability
Develop strong relationships with internal and external doctors and key stakeholders
Partner with the Business Development Manager to execute the site’s operational and growth plans
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and governance requirements
Who We’re Looking For
You are a confident, adaptable leader who thrives in complex healthcare environments and enjoys building services and teams. You bring credibility, emotional intelligence, and a solutions-focused mindset, and you’re comfortable balancing clinical priorities with commercial realities.
You’re motivated by purpose, driven by outcomes, and committed to delivering outstanding experiences for patients, families, doctors, and staff.

Skills & Experience
Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare, ideally across public and private settings
Strong business, financial, and analytical capability within a KPI-driven environment
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through growth and change
Collaborative and consultative leadership style with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Commitment to developing people through learning, coaching, and succession planning
Passion for delivering exceptional customer and patient experiences
