Job Description

The Site Reliability Engineer assists Acoustic in supporting our SaaS products in the market, and bridges the disciplines of Product Engineering and Operations. The SRE is responsible for availability, latency, performance, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning for Acoustic’s products in the global market.

The Essentials:

Strong knowledge of Python, AWS services, Terraform, Bash, Ansible, Linux, Networking, DNS, and e-mail marketing

Experience with Python AWS API, Route 53, AWS ACM, CloudWatch, and CloudFront

Ability to learn and support our products and applications

Must participate in team on-call rotation, write documentation, and knowledge transfer

Familiarity with Mongo, Postgres, Oracle, Java, Chef, and Puppet is a big plus

Support Agile CD/CI methodologies with Development and QA teams for deployment, testing, and resolving defects while maintaining 24x7x365 availability.

Basic SQL database administration along with troubleshooting and tuning.
