SRE, Java, Python, PHP, AWS or any cloud platform
· Site Reliability Engineering responsibilities include building and running large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Laerdal’s Cloud services have reliability, uptime appropriate to customer’s needs and a fast rate of improvement. SRE’s are also responsible to be ever- watchful on our systems capacity and performance.
· SRE also focusses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation. On the SRE team, you’ll have the opportunity to manage the complex challenges of scale which are unique to Laerdal while using your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis and large-scale system design
Responsibilities
· Establish a SRE site and help build an effective global SRE team
· Provide technical leadership for the teams and work closely with Application teams and Cloud leadership
· Provide guidance to other team members on managing availability and performance of critical services
· Build automation to prevent problem recurrence
· Manage execution of project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
· Assist in designing major software components, systems and features to improve the availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of Laerdal’s Cloud applications.
