THE OPPORTUNITY
As the DevOps Engineer at Xactly Corporation, you’ll be responsible for managing and maintaining overall production environments, infrastructure, build and release system. You’ll also manage CICD work and initiatives using our configuration, orchestration and monitoring tools. Job responsibilities include day-to-day management and support of multiple integration and scrum environments.
As a part of the DevOps team, you’ll be setting up and monitoring the Xactly production environments, monitoring, working closely with Dev and QE teams to troubleshoot infrastructure, application, database and performance related issues and work through resolution.

THE SKILL SET:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred.
Over 1+ years of experience in DevOps / Production Ops for managing Production infrastructure, build & release systems, and CI/CD tools.
Prior experience in setting up applications in cloud environments like AWS/OCI/Azure is a must have.
Experience working with monitoring tools like Nagios, Wavefront etc
Prior experience in setup and maintenance of modular, common and scalable services
Experience working with build and release tools like GIT, Maven, ANT, Jenkins, Shell scripting and
others.
Advanced knowledge on Provisioning and hosting tools like VMWare Vcenter, Vsphere, OpenNebula
etc.
Advanced knowledge on configuration and orchestration technologies using Chef, Vault, Ansible, Terraform, Kubertnetes and others.
Experience working with CICD processes and tools like Jenkins, Rundeck, Docker, Harness etc.
Knowledge on networking tools and protocols like DNS, HTTP, TLS, Nginx and HAProxy.
Working knowledge on database systems like Oracle, Postgres etc
Highly self-motivated, works effectively with minimal supervision, takes direction well.-
Able to work extended hours when needed.
Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL
Get familiar with our existing product architecture, build and release system and processes.
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL
Get involved in our major and minor release cycle for our application and infrastructure.
Setup and maintain multiple integration environments to facilitate Dev and QE processes.
Get in depth knowledge of all the DevOps tools and processes used in Xactly.
Maintain Xactly Production infrastructure.
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL
Work on continuous improvement efforts to optimize and automate our regular operations.
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL
Drive DevOps related projects with cross functional teams and involve in strategic planning, building and implementation of new initiatives that drive company growth.
