As a Ping Identity SRE, you will provide technical assistance, user support and administrative duties for Atlassian product users who use the products for tasks like software development, cloud computing, or data storage solutions. Our teams are integrated with development teams, and running continuous deployments daily, and SREs are expected to provide input in the product's design, development, deployment, and operations.
Working within the Cloud Operations team, you'll build automated infrastructure and deployment processes.
You will:
You will create and maintain Jira projects including permission schemes, workflow, screens, fields, dashboard, filters & etc for Company-managed and Team-managed projects.
You will integrate plug-ins such as PagerDuty, Gitlab and tools used for product development life cycle.
You will automate daily activities by using Atlassian REST APIs and Python.
You will design, implement and maintain user on-boarding/off-boarding steps.
You will be part of security reviews for plug-ins available on Atlassian Market Place.
Build and maintain the user directory and monitor user license count.
Work with the security team to setup Single Sign-On (SSO).
This position is part of a 24/7 on-call position with a rotation schedule.
You have:
At Least 3 years of experience on Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Access.
Solid scripting skills (Python/Go/etc.).
Overall 2 to 3 years of experience on SRE/DevOps.
3+ years experience with Linux/UNIX systems administration.
Experience with server configuration with Ansible.
Experience with security design principles.
