WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You’ll be working in a microservices environment that already uses Java, Golang, Python/Flask, JavaScript/React, Spark, Kafka and an impressively long list of AWS services.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
Proficient knowledge of object-oriented programming combined with 5+ years of software development experience: Java, Python etc.
Full stack application experience, throughout its lifecycle (Design, Engineering, Testing, Deployment, Support)
Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies
Familiar with NoSQL & SQL strategies to ensure data storage is designed for security, reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance
Experience with implementing and consuming RESTful (Representational State Transfer) web services, integrating legacy and modern RESTful APIs
Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery), including relevant experience with tools like Jenkins 2.0
Knowledgeable with GitHub (version control systems) and Jira (issue tracking / ALM tools)
Bonus points for:
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform
Good understanding for Observability tools such as Splunk/ SignalFx and NewRelic;
Hands-on experience in distributed software monitoring, application performance monitoring & its visual representation
