System Maintenance and Monitoring:
• Ensure the stability and performance of Linux-based systems including Ubuntu, RHEL, and Rocky Linux distributions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to OpenStack, Ceph, Kubernetes, and Docker environments.
• Utilize Python scripting for automation tasks and system monitoring.
Infrastructure Support:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system reliability.
• Manage load balancers and troubleshoot DNS issues affecting service availability.
Performance Optimization:
• Implement and maintain monitoring solutions such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and system anomalies.
Requirements:
• Candidate should be strong in Kubernetes.
• Proven experience in Linux system administration, particularly with Ubuntu, RHEL, and Rocky Linux distributions.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies, especially OpenStack and Ceph, including deployment and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker container environments, with experience in orchestration and troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting abilities with Python for automation and monitoring tasks.
• Familiarity with load balancers and DNS configurations, adept at debugging related issues.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Zabbix for system health and performance monitoring.
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of other container orchestration platforms (e. g., Docker Swarm, Mesos) is a plus.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
