Shift: Night Shift (2:30am to 11:30am)

Your task:
- Proactively monitoring and maintaining infrastructure and services to detect and resolve issues before they impact users.
- Developing tools and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce response time in critical situations.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Designing and implementing scalability and disaster recovery strategies.
- Conducting incident analysis and postmortems to identify areas for improvement.

Your Profile:

- Strong experience in system administration, networking, and cloud services, specifically in the Azure ecosystem.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools for managing Azure resources.
- Understanding of distributed systems architecture and scalable design principles.
- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Data Dog.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for performance and capacity issues.
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices in a cloud environment.

Valued Knowledge:

- Experience with Github actions, Azure Dev Ops or similar CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
- Understanding of Azure-specific services like Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, etc.
- Knowledge of Azure database services like Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or Azure Storage.
- Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration.
- Understanding of serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of Azure networking concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with Azure Security Center and Azure Active Directory for security and identity management.
