Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of production schedules at a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment? Join Refresco, the world’s largest independent bottler of soft drinks and fruit juices, as our next Site Scheduler.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind our short-term production planning, ensuring customer service excellence while minimising cost. Working closely with production, supply planning, and warehousing teams, you’ll build and control a rolling 3-week finite production schedule—delivering availability, efficiency, and performance.

Days, Monday – Friday, 38 hours per week.

The Role:

The Site Scheduler at Refresco plays a key role in managing the short-term production schedule to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and in line with customer demand.

Plan & Optimise
Develop and manage a rolling 3-week finite production schedule that balances customer demand, inventory targets, and efficient factory utilisation.

Adapt & Respond
Proactively adjust and re-sequence the production plan in response to material availability, equipment issues, or performance variances—ensuring clear, timely communication across the business.

Own the Locked Period
Take full ownership of the short-term 'locked' planning window. Address any planning alerts with minimal disruption, maintaining stability and consistency.

Coordinate Materials & Warehousing
Initiate timely material call-offs and optimise stock movements across local warehouse networks to ensure cost-effective storage and logistics solutions.

Champion Process Excellence
Leverage planning systems such as SAP and Preactor to uphold data accuracy and drive continuous improvement. Lead key planning meetings and contribute to the development of more automated, efficient planning tools.

Lead and Support Change
Play a central role in the seamless introduction of new products and changes to existing SKUs—ensuring all changes are reflected in the schedule in a timely, cost-effective manner.


About You:

Experience in Finite Scheduling or Production Planning (2–3 years preferred)
You’ve spent time in a scheduling or planning role, ideally within a manufacturing environment, and understand how to balance production efficiency with customer demand.

Understanding of Production Constraints & Schedule Optimisation
You can build realistic, achievable plans that take into account line capacity, labour, changeovers, and downtime—ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

SAP Supply Planning or ERP Knowledge (Preferred)
Familiarity with SAP or similar planning systems will help you hit the ground running. You understand the importance of data accuracy and using digital tools to drive planning efficiency.

Strong Communication, Analytical & Interpersonal Skills
You’re comfortable working across functions, can interpret data to make decisions, and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to Thrive Under Pressure
You stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and last-minute changes with confidence and control.

Proactive, Results-Focused & Team-Oriented
You take initiative, deliver on commitments, and work collaboratively to solve problems and improve performance.

FMCG Experience (Advantageous)
Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment is a plus—you know what it takes to succeed where speed, flexibility, and customer service are everything.
