Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will take charge of production activities, collaborate on design development, and ensure on-time delivery of premium-quality garments.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on knowledge of handwork techniques and dyeing processes.
Ability to independently create complete collections.
Proven experience in women's ethnic wear, especially sarees and unstiched dress materials.
Proficient in managing follow-ups and updates using Excel or Google Sheets.
Source raw materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement.
Monitor inventory, track order status, and manage project timelines to meet production deadlines.
Study market trends and consumer preferences to influence and improve product offerings.
Requirements:
Prior experience in ethnic wear merchandising and production coordination.
Solid understanding of handwork, stitching, blouse stitching, fabrics, garment construction, and the design process.
Strong communication skills and a highly organized approach.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fashion Designer.
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Production, or a related discipline (or any relevant graduation).
