National Pharmacies is seeking a Sleep Apnoea Consultant or an experienced Pharmacy Assistant looking to upskill to Sleep Apnoea Consultant for our Aldinga Pharmacy.
About the role
In this permanent part time position, you’ll support the community by playing a key role in the pharmacy by diagnosing and managing sleep related conditions. With the appropriate training provided, you will deliver a high level of care and education during patient treatment and help enhance sleep, health and quality of life.

The successful candidate must have the availability to work the roster options outlined below:
Tuesday 9am-2pm, Wednesday 9am-2pm and Friday 9am-2pm = 15 hrs OR/
Tuesday 9am-5pm & Thursday 9am-5pm = 15hrs
Skills and Experiences:
About you
Previous experience as a Sleep Apnoea Consultant or Pharmacy Assistant with a desire to broaden out and learn more about this specialised service
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to thrive in a busy environment by serving multiple customers at once
A positive, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
Passion for customer service, health and well-being
Community minded
Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy (advantageous but not required)
Key responsibilities
Carry out comprehensive consultations for sleep Ap patients.
Offer CPAP therapy education, mask fitting and patient support
Maintain accurate patient records
Interpret clinical reports
Stock control of sleep Ap stock
Promoting Sleep Ap services
Technical competence using Microsoft office suite and other programs
