Job Description
- Performs complex diagnostics and repairs on various pieces of small engine equipment, including but not limited to ATVs, snowmobiles, snowblowers, golf carts, e-bikes, and yard equipment
- Performs diagnosis and repair in the field as required
- Delivering equipment to clients as required
- Maintains current knowledge of competitive products
- Maintains condition of inventory, tools and equipment
- Advise customers on work performed, general equipment condition and future repair requirements.
- Perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Any other duties as necessary
Working Hours:
- Weekdays from +:00AM to 5:00PM with the ability of starting earlier
- Occasional Saturdays from +:00AM to 12:00PM
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Small engine mechanic certificate is an asset
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of Ideal Computer Systems and ARI Network Services is an asset
