We are a growing company specializing in pressure washing, snow removal, and landscaping services, and we are currently looking for a dependable and motivated Small Engine Mechanic / General Labourer to join our team immediately.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a strong team player who can take initiative, communicate effectively, and assist with both mechanical and general labour responsibilities as needed.
The ideal candidate will help keep our fleet, machinery, and equipment operating efficiently and safely throughout all seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair small engines and mechanical equipment
Perform maintenance and repairs on pressure washing units, landscaping equipment, snow removal machinery, trailers, pumps, hoses, generators, and tools
Replace broken, damaged, or worn-out parts
Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections to minimize downtime
Maintain organized inventory of tools, equipment, and replacement parts
Order parts and communicate with suppliers when necessary
Keep the shop, work areas, and storage spaces clean, organized, and safe
Support field operations and assist with general labour tasks when required
Work collaboratively with management and crew members to ensure equipment readiness and operational efficiency
Respond quickly to urgent repairs during busy operational periods
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience working with small engines, mechanical repairs, or heavy-duty equipment
Experience with pressure washing, landscaping, or snow removal equipment is a strong asset
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive work ethic
Comfortable working in both indoor shop environments and outdoor conditions
Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks
Flexible availability for both daytime and nighttime shifts, especially during peak seasonal operations
Must be able to communicate effectively in English
Spanish-speaking skills are considered a strong asset
Valid driver’s license is preferred
