Key Qualifications
Experience NECESSARY with 2-stroke and 4-stroke gas marine outboard engines (Primarily Mercury but also Johnson, Evinrude, Yamaha, Honda)
Duties include general preventive maintenance on customer engines I.e.: Performing oils services, carburetor cleanings, oil seal changes, etc.
Must be able to rapidly diagnose engine problems; find appropriate repair parts utilizing in-house computer programs; accurately document parts required on work orders and efficiently execute the most practical repair in a timely manner.
Must good communication and people skills. Ability to work independently, skilled in time management and minor paperwork organization.
Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently.
Your own tools are required.
All customers are required to wear a mask, curbside pickup available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, mechanics rarely deal with customers face to face.
