JOB TITLE: SPI ADMINISTRATOR - SENIOR ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) typical administration tasks including
SPI Installation and configuration (Oracle & SQL)
Perform database connections to SPI applications
Domain Initialization and Backup activity / DBA Activities
Application database fitness and maintenance, Site-Plant creation, Plant Break Down Structure (PBS), Creating Users, Groups, Department, Tag Naming Convention, User defined tables and User defined Custom Fields
Projects scope and merge, and audit of SPI databases used by other contractors
Develop Reference Cables, device panels, junction boxes and DCS/PLC wiring equipment.
Creation of EDE View/ Browser in reference Explorer and assign to domain.
Symbol creation and customization of templates for Specification, Wiring, Hook-Up Drawings
Develop SPI related Specification Documentation, templates, implementation plans for the projects
Deliverables customization: reports, datasheets, drawing templates, wiring schedules, loop diagrams, hook-ups and other diagram types
Customization of Reports (forms) and Specifications using INFOMAKER.
Prepare the Power soft report (.PSR file) and import the same PSR file to retrieve the data in SPI.
Upgrade SPI database as per version compatibility SPI Modules Administration, Instrument Index, Process Data, Specification, Wiring, Loop Drawing, Hook-Up.
Train new Users on SPI Admin module and Engineering module within the group to produce C&I project documents: - • Instrument Lists • Wiring details and schedules • Loop diagrams including Smart Loops • Instrument data sheets • Cable specification and schedules • Hookups including creation of Typical hook-up drawing, assigning Tags to the Hook-ups, Hook-up MTO extraction
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
BE / B. Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Instrumentation or similar) from a reputed institution with more than 8 years of experience Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) administration
Good knowledge of database schemas and tables and ability to write own SQL queries,
Good knowledge of import utility module, Creation of Excel template for Importing Instrument Index, IO List, Specification and Cable schedule data and Import data to SPI.
Able to work Including User level.
